Epic: Non-Combat Discipline Trees

Summary

This epic covers the non-combat discipline trees: Survival (fully fleshed out with three tiers), and stubs for Crafting, Social, and Magic disciplines. The Survival tree has a rich three-tier progression from basic skills to advanced specializations. The remaining disciplines get expandable root-and-branch structures that can be filled in by future epics.

Goals

  • Implement the full Survival discipline tree with Foraging, Tracking, Navigation at tier 1, Herbalism, Hunting, Map, Astronomy at tier 2, and Alchemy, Pathfinding at tier 3.
  • Create expandable stubs for Crafting, Social, and Magic disciplines with root nodes and placeholder branch structure.
  • Ensure all non-combat trees integrate with the SkillTree data model.

  • All nodes load from conf/skill_trees.yaml.
  • All child issues are completed and merged to master.
